Hiking holiday in Valle di Casies –where South Tyrol’s diversity is at home
Anyone who decides on a hiking holiday in Casies can look forward to warm hospitality and a fabulous natural backdrop. Valle di Casies is close to the Austrian border and is a tributary of the Val Pusteria. This alpine gem is named after the river of Val Casies, which meanders gently babbling over lush alpine pastures, through shady forests and along imposing mountain slopes. Our traditional hereditary farm is located at 1250 meters above sea level near the picturesque mountain village of Pichl, which, together with the villages of St. Magdalena and St. Martin, forms the municipality of Valle di Casies.
Valle di Casies offers you an incomparable mountain, hiking and alpine world! In Casies alone there are 14 managed alpine huts, in hardly any other region of South Tyrol there is a larger selection. Whether on foot or by bike, start directly from our farm and experience an abundance of natural spectacles and sights.
Our farm is the ideal starting point for the most famous excursion destinations in the Dolomites, whether it is the most famous lake in the Alps, the Braies Lake, the UNESCO World Natural Heritage landmarks of the DOLOMITES the 3 PEAKS or the many excursion destinations in the PLAN THE CORONES holiday region in the Puster Valley.
